GETTING TO SOPHIA GARDENS 

The Cardiff Christmas Festival Spiegeltent is located on the Open Air Theatre Festival site in Sophia Gardens, right in the city centre, and is easily accessible by foot, car, bus and train. TRAVEL BY CAR 

When travelling from outside Cardiff via the M4, exit junction 32 and follow the A470 to Cardiff city centre. If following sat nav then Sophia Garden's postcode is CF11 9FH. There is parking available adjacent to the Spiegeltent at Sophia Gardens pay and display car park. There are also other car parks in the area.

PARK & RIDE 

Cardiff currently has three park and ride sites in operation, located to the south, east and west; with each offering bus services to and from the city centre.  

TRAVEL BY TRAIN 

Both Cardiff Central and Cardiff Queen Street stations are located within easy walking distance of Sophia Gardens. Great Western Railway provide mainline trains from London Paddington and Swansea through Cardiff Central, with services from the local area being operated by Transport For Wales. 

TRAVEL BY BUS 

Although Cardiff's new central bus station is currently under construction, Cardiff Bus operates several routes with stops that are adjacent to Sophia Gardens. TRAVEL BY BIKE 

Cardiff city centre has many established cycleways with the two nearest ending in either Bute Park or Cathays Park, the famous Taff Trail also passes close by. Cardiff is also a host for the bike share operators, Nextbike, with around 500 bikes available to hire from 50 separate locations across the city. 

TRAVEL BY AIR 

Cardiff Airport is located around 15 miles (23 km) away with regular bus and rail links to the city centre and Cardiff Bay.
